What's the best way to cut down on the number of meetings you have at work?We always encourage people to take more ownership over their calendars and how they spend time at work. But this can be difficult to do if you don't feel like you have the authority to pull out of all the meetings you're invited to. To work around this we recommend people periodically sit down with their managers during regular 1:1s and review their calendars together. Managers can be incredibly helpful in giving you permission to pull yourself out of unneeded extra meetings and process, buying you more time for individual focused work.
