We attended The People Analytics – Future of Work conference in San Fransisco last week. Apart from having a great time connecting with some amazing people in the space, we found the various sessions incredibly insightful. Here are our top 5 takeaways from the event.
Josh Bersin: Radical changes in expectations by employees have shifted the focus of HR to be on engagement, productivity and employee experience.Only 4% of problems regarding employee experience are actually known by top managers.
Linking insights to business results: Too many orgs are not linking their financial data with their hr data.
The irresistible organization understands the complete employee experience and employee journey within their org. This is going to come from either building or buying a better analytics tool set to understand where employee experience is failing.
“Engagement 3.0” is going to come from AI based automatic feedback where intelligent nudges focus on everyone and not just departments or groups as a whole.
Agile workplace models have arrived and they work. Orgs that have implemented agile team structures are seeing significant performance improvements. Orgs can accomplish this by imbedding HR Tech into productivity tools. One example of this is using Organizational Network Analysis.
